Today we opened a new page in Cleopatra’s life.  Grandma  got to stroke her body for an extended period of time as Cleopatra was snuggling next to Pepe.  Several times Cleopatra looked at Grandma’s hand but did not react to the touch.  That is the first time we have been able to touch her other than on her tail.

 

  Pepe was in my lap later in the day when Cleopatra jumped up next to him to investigate the scene.  She looked all around then jumped down.  That is the first time that has happened.

Pepe loves to lay in my lap with his head buried in my hand.
